Ryan decided he wanted to surprise Vanessa on the top of Doan, which is an amazing mountain located right in the heart of the Mournes. From its summit, you have 360 degree views of the Mourne Mountains.
Surprise Proposal Shoot In The Mourne Mountains
The forecast for that day was amazing with clear blue skies forecast all day. It was also Vanessa's birthday, so we hatched a plan to head up into the Mournes in the afternoon and shoot right into golden hour. Vanessa & Ryan are both experienced hikers - they hiked into the mountains in their hiking clothes and then did an outfit change when we reached our shooting location. Safety is always priority in the mountains as conditions can change so quickly, even on beautiful sunny days.
What a privilege I have to witness and document moments like this.
