Cabra Castle Wedding Photographer
If you’re planning a wedding at Cabra Castle and looking for relaxed, natural wedding photography, you’re definitely in the right place.
Cabra Castle is one of those venues that gives you plenty to work with as a photographer. Set amongst beautiful countryside in County Cavan, the castle itself is packed with character, while the grounds give us loads of options for photographs without having to disappear away from your guests for hours.
And that suits the way I photograph weddings perfectly.
Relaxed Wedding Photography at Cabra Castle
My approach to wedding photography is pretty simple — your wedding isn’t my photo shoot.
Having photographed over 650 weddings, I know that most couples don’t want to spend their day being constantly pulled away for photographs. In fact, one of the things I hear most often is “we’re not great in front of the camera.”
That’s absolutely fine.
My style is relaxed, natural and documentary-led. For most of the day, I’m simply documenting everything as it happens — the laughs, the hugs, the reactions and all those little moments you might not even notice at the time.
When we do head out for some photographs of the two of you, I keep things just as relaxed. No awkward poses or star jumps. We’ll take a wander, have a chat and make the most of the castle and grounds without turning your wedding day into a photoshoot.
Why Cabra Castle is Brilliant for Wedding Photography
As a Cabra Castle wedding photographer, one of the things I love about the venue is the variety it offers.
The castle has that unmistakable historic feel, with stonework, beautiful interiors and loads of character, while outside you have the surrounding grounds, mature trees and countryside. It means we can create a really varied set of photographs while keeping everything feeling natural and true to the day.
It’s also the sort of venue where you don’t necessarily need to go very far to find a great location for photographs. That means less time away from your family and friends — and more time actually enjoying your wedding.
And if we happen to get some beautiful evening light, it’s always worth sneaking outside for ten minutes around golden hour. Those little evening portrait sessions are often some of my favourite photographs from the whole day.
Your Wedding Day, Your Way
Whether you’re having a big celebration at Cabra Castle or something a little more intimate, my aim is always the same: to give you photographs that feel like your wedding, rather than a collection of staged moments.
I want you to be able to look back and remember what the day actually felt like — who was there, what made you laugh and all the moments happening around you.
So if you’re searching for a wedding photographer at Cabra Castle and you love the idea of relaxed, modern and natural wedding photography, I’d love to hear what you’re planning.
